Gibson Custom Shop 2018 Tak Matsumoto Les Paul Standard 2018
The “Tak Matsumoto LP Canary Yellow 2018” was produced in a limited edition of 150 pieces to celebrate B'z's 30th anniversary and exhibition.
This model is am updated re-release of Tak Matsumoto's first signature “Canary Yellow” model, updated for the first time in 20 years.
While the look of the guitar, including the abalone shell inlays and black binding, has been retained, but the body has been chambered to reduce weight, and it features Custom Shop specs as of 2018, including tubeless historic truss rod, Custombucker pickups, hide glue.
The neck grip has been reproduce the shape of his 1959 Les Paul.
Two Custombucker pickups are installed.
There are some weather checks around the knobs and a few pockmarks and scuffs on the back and sides of the body.
There are also scratches on the fingerboard (21st-22nd frets).
There is not much fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
A signed pickguard and COA are also included.
