Gibson Custom Shop 2018 TAK Matsumoto Les Paul Standard
This is the 'Tak Matsumoto Les Paul Standard Canary Yellow 2018', produced in a limited edition of 150 guitars to celebrate B'z's 30^(th) anniversary and the launch of their exhibition.
An updated reissue of Tak Matsumoto's original signature model, the “Canary Yellow”, which was first released approximately 20 years ago.
The body features a chambered construction to reduce weight while retaining the appearance of abalone shell inlays and black binding. It also features 2018 Custom Shop specifications, including a tubeless Historic truss rod, Custom Bucker pickups and hide glue for wood bonding.
There are multiple scratches on the headstock. There is weather checking near the stud anchor on the first string side of the tailpiece. There are scratches on the escutcheon. There are also marks where the strings have rubbed against the front pickup escutcheon and the bobbins of both pickups. The body back has scratches and minor dings. There is one dent on the edge of the control panel. There is also a mark from a sticker on the control panel.
There is almost no fret wear and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
The guitar comes with a signed pickguard and COA.
