2010 Gibson Custom Shop Signature “Appetite for Destruction" Les Paul Signed & Aged Butterscotch
Description
Gibson Custom Shop 2010 Slash Signature “Appetite for Destruction" Les Paul Signed & Aged
This is a very rare, signed and aged model produced in a limited edition of just 100 pieces worldwide. It is rarely seen on the market.
This is a reissue of the iconic Les Paul that was used on Guns N' Roses' debut album “Appetite For Destruction”.
This Les Paul is a replica of the '59 Les Paul that was mainly used for recording and for a long time afterwards. It was made by ‘Kris Derrig’, a private artist who is not affiliated with any brand or workshop.
Slash himself signed the headstock, and Tom Murphy's superb aging process has reproduced the butterscotch finish with a faded reddish hue, weather checks all over the body, and paint that has melted and peeled in places. The look and feel of the original model has been perfectly captured.
Like the original instrument, it has rounded position markers and over-bound frets, and is equipped with a set of Seymour Duncan Slash Signature Alnico II (APH-2) pickups.
The guitar is in good condition with minimal wear, no fret wear and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
The “Appetite For Destruction” record is missing.
Body : Maple/Mahogany
Neck : Mahogany
Fingerboard : Indian Rosewood
Weight: 4.07 kg
Case: Original Hard Case
Accessories: COA, one thumb nut, strap lock
