Gibson Custom Shop 2015 Ron Wood L5S Signed
This is the signature model of Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones.
Based on the "L5S" model, which was produced in the 70's as a solid version of the top-of-the-range "L-5" full acoustic model, this unique signature model combines the specifications of the "Les Paul Custom" model.
It was produced in a limited edition of 300, of which only 50 were "Signed".
The thin body is made of three layers of maple: 2-piece top/3-piece center/2-piece back with weight relief, and the back side of the body is also arched.
The neck is 5-ply maple and walnut, in a slim shape with Grover tuners.
Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups are installed.
The neck pickup is dated '11 and the bridge pickup is dated '15, but there are no solder marks.
The body back has a few scratches and pockmarks, but is in good condition with little signs of wear.
The neck and truss rod are in good condition.
