Gibson Custom Shop 2009 Inspired by Series Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Signed & Aged
This is the ”Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul Signed & Aged”, produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces worldwide.
A faithful reproduction of the Oxblood 1954 Les Paul that appeared on the cover of the 1975 album Blow by Blow, this model is widely recognized as Jeff Beck's favorite instrument.
Signed by Jeff Beck himself, this instrument has a single-digit serial number.
The guitar was profiled from Beck’s own guitar and the aging process accurately reproduces the paint cracks between the pickups, many dents and other damage. It has a one-piece mahogany neck with a deep joint and a bar bridge and tailpiece made of lightweight aluminium.
The replacement of the P-90 with a humbucking pickups and tuners have also been faithfully replicated. (Aging is not by Tom Murphy).
The neck has a thick 50s style profile, and the pickups are equipped with Burstbucker 2&3.
The guitar shows little signs of wear and is in excellent condition with no fret loss.
The neck has very slight rippling, but this is minor and does not cause any problem when played in standard settings.
Some tags, cloth, and cable are missing.
