Gibson Custom Shop 2017 Historic Collection 70’s Flying V VOS
This rare Maui Blue "70's Flying V VOS" model was specially produced to order by a Japanese dealer.
It features a slightly rounded headstock, a volute neck with binding, a witch-hat knobs, a slim neck grip with a nut width of about 40mm, as well as a slightly thinner body shape.
The pickups are the "Super 74”, which were used on the Randy Rhoads Les Paul Custom.
The nut has been replaced.
There are some scratches and scuffs on the pickguard, a rectangular sticker mark, a small paint peel and dent on the tip of the "V" (first limit side), a few dents on the inside edge of the "V" (back side), a dent on the head tip with peeling paint, and some chips and scuffs on the top and back of the body.
The frets have been rubbed and are about 80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
