In 1995 Gibson J-55 R Centenial Collection Limited Edition. These guitars were limited to 250 pieces and this is number 21. It is a an amazing sounding guitar. Big, loud and punchy. It has all the appointments of the original 30's J-55 with a rosewood back, tiger striped pickguard, and the starstep headstock.Built in Montana by the fabulous team there. Comes with the original anniversary case too.
There are some finish cracks around the base of the fingerboard. It has no top or side cracks in the wood. The action is very low and it is a dream to play. This guitar has tremendous volume. It is really a responsive and resonant guitar.
