Description

This Gibson J-45 was made in the USA in 1950. It has a cool and unusual feature - factory 7-ply binding on the body - this was standard on the Southern Jumbo model, but this is the only J-45 we have seen that has it. Aside from that it conforms to standard J-45 specs. There is normal play wear but overall the guitar is in nice shape. There is 1 repaired top crack, and normal dings and dents. The neck angle is great and the action is low with room on the saddle. On the inside the bridge plate has been replaced, and there is a repair to one of the x-braces. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store and plays/sounds great. It comes with a non original hard case.
