Description

Now available, a 1960 Gibson ES 330TD in its original sunburst finish.

This is an fantastic playing example of a late 1960 Gibson ES330, remaining in nearly all original condition for a 66 year old guitar. It features a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with stunning grain, 2x soap-bar P90 pickups with black pickup covers, a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, and all nickel plated hardware.

The guitar retains all of its original parts, and the original finish has no touchup or overspray. The only modifications include a fresh partial re-fret by Piers Crocker to the 12th fret, and one replaced bridge saddle. The guitar shows plenty of finish checking and age to the sunburst finish, as well as a few dings and some mild seam separation on the treble side of the tailpiece end (structurally stable).

Recently setup instore, this is easily one of the best ES330s we have ever had and its ready to play thanks to the re-fret.

Includes a period vintage brown Gibson case that has been painted black and the handle replaced.
