Here is a really cool vintage 1964 Gibson ES-125TDC in a nicely faded Cherry Sunburst, a nice original example with great specs.

This one features the desirable wide 1-11/16" nut width, making it a very comfortable player. The guitar is very original overall, with the only notable changes being a newer chrome tailpiece and what appears to be a past neck reset. Both are practical updates that help the guitar perform well.

It’s loaded with two strong P-90 pickups, along with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way switch, giving you plenty of tonal flexibility. Other features include a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, thin hollowbody construction, and single-line Kluson tuners.

Condition is very good overall. There are light scratches, small dings, and general wear throughout as you’d expect. There are also some minor hairline cracks at the jack, but nothing structural.

Playability & Sound
