Fender Custom Shop 2021 Limited 1965 Stratocaster NOS
This is the limited-production ‘1965 Stratocaster NOS’ model, created for the 2020 Summer Event.
Despite being a '65 model, it deliberately features a slab rosewood fingerboard and natural finish. Its specifications are suited a limited edition, with the neck luxuriously crafted from AAA-grade flame maple with beautiful grain.
The neck has a slightly thicker “65 C” profile. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and with narrow-tall frets.
It is equipped with hand-wound FAT 60s pickups with ‘BP’ signature, and the control system features ‘Vintage Mod. Wiring #2’ with an independent capacitor dedicated to the bridge position. (This results in a shallow tone response when the rear position is selected.)
There are a few minor pockmarks on the body top and some tiny dents on the body back.
There is no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
