NEW - This new 2024 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 60’s Rosewood Telecaster NOS was built at the Fender custom shop by master luthier Paul Waller who built the limited run of the Fender Custom Shop George Harrison Tribute Rosewood Telecaster that were issued by Fender in 2016, retailed for $12,500 and immediately sold out! The body is crafted from four pieces of hand-selected rosewood sandwiching a thin maple veneer, just like the original prototype created by Fender’s Roger Rossmeisl and Phillip Kubicki and gifted to Harrison in 1968.
The Telecaster bears a very light Closet Classic finish, approximating the condition it would be in after the short time it was in George’s hands for the historic "Let It Be" recording sessions, final live rooftop concert and best seen in The Beatles new documentary film Get Back. Comes with a deluxe hardcover autographed copy of the critically acclaimed book Beatles Gear The Ultimate Edition.
