Fender Custom Shop 2020 1961 Telecaster Relic
This is a "1961 Telecaster Relic" model in sunburst with slab-rosewood fingerboard.
The elbow paint has been peeled off and the entire body is covered with fine weather checks, which have been reproduced by the Relic process to create a vintage look.
The quarter-sawn neck has been boldly stripped of its paint for a Heavy Relic finish, and the relatively slender "60 Style Oval C" shape, with 9.5R fingerboard and 6105 frets (Narrow Tall type) for a modern style.
The pickups are a set of hand-wound Texas Special pickups signed "BP".
The frets have a few dents on the plain strings, but the neck and rods are in good condition.
