Fender Custom Shop 2019 1961 Stratocaster Relic Ash
This is a "1961 Stratocaster Relic" model with a Faded 3 Color Sunburst finish that reproduces the discoloration of reddish color.
The body is made of ash wood, and the paint has been peeled off and fine weather checks on the entire body have been reproduced by the relic process.
The neck shape is a thick "Large C" shape, the fingerboard has a 9.5-12R compound radius with 6150 size medium jumbo frets.
All pickups are hand-wound with "CG" signature, "Fat 60s" on the neck and center, "Texas Special" on the bridge, and wiring is ”Vintage Mod. Wiring #2".
There is a slight scuff on the body end and a slight paint damage on the back of the neck near the 15th fret on the first string side.
The frets have been rubbed together and there is about 70% remaining. The neck is slightly wavy, but there is no sound clogging, and the truss rod is adjustable.
