Fender Jazz Bass 1975 - Natural

Description

Here we have a super cool vintage Fender Jazz Bass from 1975! This one is in good condition with plenty of honest wear.

Specs include an ash body, maple neck, maple fingerboard, block inlays, bound neck and white pickguard. It has a Hipshot Xtender on the low E and retains its original adjustable saddle vintage style bridge. It’s loaded with dual J-bass pickups.

This one shows plenty of wear across the entire instrument. There is a silhouette around the bridge from the original cover which is now gone. The pickup cover and thumb rest are no longer present either. The tip of the guard is cracked off. There are a number of dings, dents and scratches throughout the finish. The frets show divots consistent with this much use.

The bass weighs 10lbs 13oz. The neck measures .850 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a bit of a D shaped neck down low that rounds out to more of an oval C higher up. The bass is not lightweight, but it has good balance and nice resonance. There is some sizzle off the board and it could probably use a refret ultimately, but it remains a nice player with a cool vibe.

Ships in a non-original hardshell case. The covers and original tuner are not included.
