Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster 2004 - Ebony Transparent
Description
Here we have a 2004 Acoustasonic Strat from Fender! This one is in good condition overall.
Specs include an alder body with graphite top, maple Strat neck with rosewood fretboard, and a rosewood base bridge with 3 piece compensated plastic saddle. It has three individual in-bridge Fishman piezos to form one single pickup for the guitar.
This one has a handful of light scratches and scuffs on the body. You can see the seam under the finish where the graphite meets the wood at the forearm contour. The frets show a faint hint of wear but look good. The tuners appear to be newer locking units. There is an area of finish delamination on the back of the headstock below the B/G tuners, but it appears to be stable. The bridge looks to have been re-glued at some point.
The guitar weighs 5lbs 13oz. The neck measures .845 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has a nice modern C shaped carve with a 1.6875" nut width. The guitar has a traditional Strat 25.5" scale length. It really does produce a nice small body, boxy type of acoustic tone. It's loud and resonant, but ultimately plays with the familiarity of a USA Stratocaster.
Includes the original deluxe padded gig bag.
