Electronics: Original single coil pickups and electronics, with 1966 pot codes. A ground wire was added to the harness, running to the bridge plate.

Pickup Measurements: 6.2k (neck), 5.2k (bridge)

Hardware: The bridge and bridge plate have been replaced and a pair of thimbles has been installed for the new bridge. A Bigsby tremolo has been installed. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender guitar has aged nicely and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, some light surface scratching, and small finish chips scattered throughout. The top of the body has a larger area of finish wear on the bass side of the lower bout and near the binding. The back of the body has some buckle rash and shows some larger spots of finish wear near the end of the lower bout. The sides of the body show some spots of finish wear throughout. The face of the headstock at the A string tuner shows a small chip that has been glued back down. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge and bridge plate have been replaced with a pair of thimbles installed in the body for the new bridge. A Bigsby tremolo has been installed. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut and the guitar has been refretted.

Serial Number: 246517

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium width and tall with minimal play wear. The serial number dates to 1968 and the neck stamp reads "3FEB68B."
