1982 Fender Stratocaster Gold

Now available on consignment, a rare example of a 1982 Gold on Gold 'Dan Smith' Fender Stratocaster.
This guitar is among a small run of Stratocasters made in 1982, and is among the first to return to the small headstock and four screw neck joint design. It features an Aztec Gold finish, 22k gold plated hardware, and a set of X-1 higher output pickups.
The guitar remains in nearly original condition except for a replacement backplate and screws. As you can see the guitar presents in fantastic condition with only a few dings to note. There is some fret wear mainly in the first few positions, but it does not affect playability.
A fantastic lightweight example of this model, includes its original tweed case and original gold plated tremolo arm.
