1963 Fender Jazz Bass "Early Round Fingerboard"

Description

1963 vintage "early Roundboard" dot marker neck Jazz Bass.

The rounded fingerboard was adopted to reduce neck movement, and the thickness of the rosewood was gradually reduced with each model year.
Therefore, the early round fingerboards were thick, blending the rich bass tones characteristic of the slab period with the wide frequency response typical of the round period.
Its unique sound is loved by many players.

While there are a few minor signs of wear and weathering typical of vintage items, overall it remains in excellent condition.
