1959 Fender Precision Bass (Lefty) – Fullerton Red

Description

This 1959 Fender Precision Bass in Fullerton Red has to be the coolest Lefty bass we have in the shop! Before the introduction of Custom Colors in 1960, Fender used a very similar shade of “Fullerton Red” named after George Fullerton. Eventually, the shade was tweaked with a touch of white, bringing us the color we all know and love: Fiesta Red. This bass is a beautifully original example, with a wonderful slab of rosewood for the fretboard, celluloid tortoise guard, and clay dots that complement the body color so nicely.

Overall Condition: 7.5, light dings and paint chips throughout the body, weather checking throughout
