Epiphone 1994 Imperial Series EZR-1 1950’s Zephyr
This is the “EZR-1 1950's Zephyr” model from the Imperial Series. It was produced from 1992 to 1994, based on the concept of recreating instruments from the 1930s to 1960s.
This guitar was made at the Fujigen factory, it features a book-matched solid spruce top and a solid maple back.
It is equipped with two New York Epiphone-style mini humbucker pickups.
There are some fine scratches and pockmarks on the body. There is paint damage with bubbles along the outer edge near the end of the body top. The binding near the end is cracked and the neck heel decoration is checked. The headstock veneer is damaged and scratched. The metal parts are dull, and the resin parts and binding are discolored due to ageing. Overall, the guitar shows extensive age-appropriate wear.
It has been re-fretted and re-nutted. There is no wear on the current frets. The neck and truss rod are both in good condition with no issues, providing excellent playability.
