Description
The ESP LTD XJ-1 Hardtail marks the return of this great guitar shape to the LTD offerings, but with a much more distinctive design and feature set built for the modern musician. Built with a bolt-on construction, the XJ-1 HT offers a textured sandblasted Black Blast finish on its swamp ash solidbody. It makes use of a sturdy and reliable bolt-on three-piece thin U-shaped roasted maple neck, as well as a tilt-back reverse headstock that's great for maintaining string tension at lower tunings.
The XJ-1 HT offers a Macassar ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and twenty-two extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on this superb instrument include LTD locking tuners and a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru body. The flexible sonic character of the XJ-1 HT comes from its Fluence Open Core Classic bridge pickup with multiple voices accessible via push/pull control.
