~1990 Dobro Custom Dobro Natural

Made by Gibsons USA custom shop. The original owner worked at Gibson and finished the guitar himself with lacquer. Has a mahogany body with light shaded top and darker back and sides. The neck is nicely rounded with a bound rosewood fingerboard and bound headstock. The etched brass cover plate is the coolest part. Seems like a nod to the famous Dobro model 125. It sounds fantastic with a really fine volume and sustain. The brass screen holes are a cool touch too. Comes with the original hard case. A really unique high end Dobro.
