Dean USA Trans Am NAMM Prototype 2013 - Black

Description

Here we have a very cool Dean USA Prototype Trans Am! This guitar was built for the 2013 NAMM show with a design that is based on the Entwistle Hybrid Bass.

It features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard. It's a set neck guitar with an all access heel joint and reverse headstock. The logo was new at the time, designed for the model to look fast. It has a pearloid guard, DMT pickups, and a tune-o-matic bridge. It has a 24 5/8" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width like other USA models.

The guitar is in excellent shape. It has some light signs of handling on the surface but no dents or damage. It's clearly been case-kept for the last decade since being displayed new at the NAMM show.

The guitar weighs 6lbs 12oz. The neck measures .800 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slimmer C shape profile that would feel quite familiar if you've played other Dean USA models. It's lightweight, well-balanced, and quite resonant. Plays easily up and down the neck too. It's a great design that is masterfully built.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the warranty card.
