Based on the coveted Tone Hammer amplifier, the Limited Edition-model Aguilar Tone Hammer Preamp/DI is basically a swiss-army knife for your pedalboard. Featuring fully sweepable midrange frequencies in addition to bass and treble controls, the Tone Hammer gives you studio-inspired EQ paired with a pristine Direct Input box for the studio and the stage. To give this tone shaping unit the ultimate flexibility, Aguilar has introduced their proprietary Adaptive Gain Shaping circuitry (AGS). AGS allows the player to kick in an additional gain structure allowing you to go from modern tones to vintage, tube-like saturation with the stomp of a button. It’s 18 volt operation gives the Tone Hammer plenty of headroom to reproduce the most dynamic playing styles and it robust design makes this pedal truly road-worthy.
