1959 Airline 8503

Guitar amp with tremolo, made for Montgomery Ward. VG+. Fully serviced (about $100.00 worth of work done.) All stock with 12” alnico speaker, two channels, 2x6V6 power tubes. Service: Tested all tubes, replaced tremolo coupling caps, retensioned tube sockets, cleaned, tested under load for several hours, and finally a gentle kiss to go out and make another 66 years of music. Cleans up well and turn it up to 10 and it has a great crispy-clear growl. Plus, has the greatest mid-century look. Some wear at the bottom of the cabinet, otherwise pretty clean. All-stock, really great tone, and again, freshly-serviced. About 20 pounds, too! Easy to move, sounds terrific, great tremolo that’s foot-switchable (footswitch not included.) Has newer grounded 3-prong plug.
