Minty 1973 Gibson Les Paul Signature Bass Gold Top
Description
If you collect clean and original vintage gear, this Vintage Gibson Bass may appeal to You. If you are going to pay today's higher valuations, you may as well get a great one.
Produced in a collaboration with LES PAUL, the prominent features of this model are the Low Impedance pickup and circuitry and the fact that this is a LONG 34.5" scale bass. It is also interesting that they chose a GOLD TOP metallic finish, likely as an homage to Les Paul and the original Gold Top guitar models of the 1950's. Is that HIS actual "signature" on the labels?
This beautiful and 100% Factory-Original Gibson Bass has been in my collection for 35 years and is uncirculated.
Still has the Hang Tags and SELDOM SEEN Les Paul Signature Bass OPERATING MANUAL!!!
I'd rate this a "Conservative" 9 out of 10 condition. There is no Fret wear and it only has a few finish checks on the face. The bass appears to have been very lightly played back when it was new and exhibits only light signs of ever being played.
The Serial Number and "Made in USA" stamp are present, but very light on this one and a tad hard to read or photograph.
The bass is 100% original, functioning well, playing well and looking amazing for being over 50 years old !
Comes withe the seldom-seen, original purple lined case, which is also in excellent condition is fully functional in every way.
