1987 Guild JF65-12

As you can clearly see , here we have a gorgeous 1987 Guild “Westerly” built, maple JF 65-12, twelve string acoustic similar to the 512 & 612 twelve strings John Denver and others have made famous. Nothing sounds like a Guild 12 string…nothing. This beauty is in spectacular condition, I can’t say perfect, but man is this super clean.

This instrument is the desired “arch-back,” not a flat back. I am the second owner. It had a neck set just a year ago, a full set-up, a Fishman Matrix pickup system installed with volume and tone controls. Plays like butter, smooth and carefree action, and again noting sounds like a Guild 12. This is a smoke and pet free home instrument and as you can see an absolutely gorgeous piece of maple. It is housed in its original case which is usually impossible to find. No smells no odors and the guitar is as described. A stunning piece of work from the Guild Westerly factory. The 2026 Vintage Guitar Price Guide has these as high as $3,300 and we’ve seen them higher. Here I’m asking $2,999
