Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1976 - Cherry Sunburst
Description
Here we have a vintage Gibson Les Paul Deluxe electric guitar! This one is in good shape with some really nice player wear.
Specs include a plain maple top, mahogany pancake body, 3-piece maple neck, rosewood board, and trapezoid inlays. It has deluxe tuners, a stop tailpiece, and a tune-o-matic bridge. It is of course loaded with dual mini-hum buckers.
This guitar has been well-played and well-loved. The finish is worn from the back of the neck, and there are a couple large areas of buckle wear through the finish on the back. The back edges are also worn smooth through the finish. There are other dings, topical scratches and patina across the instrument too. The frets are original and in good shape. They have most likely been leveled before, but there are no divots. The finish and electronics appear to be original. The bridge and jack plate are newer units, though the originals are included. The tuners are an RS Guitarworks aged double ring set. The original tuners are included.
This one weighs 9lbs 13oz. The neck measures .800 to .980 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a thin oval C neck profile that is consistent in depth up until the neck heel transition. Though this one hails from the pancake body / maple neck era, it’s a really great playing guitar. We love the look and feel of it with all of the authentic wear. The guitar is resonant, bends easily and has a nice string response under the right hand. It sounds great too!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the original bridge, original tuners and original broken jack plate.
