The Lion JD is the signature model of Justin Derrico (P!nk, NBC’s The Voice), designed as a stage-ready workhorse that merges the best elements of two legendary single-cut designs into one cohesive instrument. Built entirely from mahogany, it delivers a warm, focused midrange, strong sustain, and a naturally resonant feel that responds beautifully to both clean articulation and driven tones.

Its shorter 24.75″ scale length gives the guitar a slinkier string tension and a familiar, comfortable feel under the fingers, while the Medium C mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard provides a balanced grip that suits a wide range of playing styles. Dunlop 6105 frets offer precision without feeling oversized, and the TUSQ XL nut helps ensure stable tuning and smooth string movement.

Tone comes from a set of Seymour Duncan Custom JD Signature humbuckers, wired with premium CTS pots, MOD oil-filled capacitors, and Switchcraft components for clarity, reliability, and expressive control. Hardware options include gold or nickel, paired with Kluson Deluxe tuners and a Vega-Trem bridge for smooth vibrato performance while maintaining tuning stability.

Finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and housed in a G&G custom hardshell case, the Lion JD is built to perform night after night while aging gracefully over time.

Our primary shipping vendor is Fedex ground with insurance. For small accessories, P.O. boxes, or non-continental US customers, we may use the United States Postal Service. Expedited Orders We will upgrade the shipping delivery method to 2-day, or overnight (if applicable) upon request (charges will apply). Consignment Items Consignment Items do not qualify for free shipping, Shipping will be calculated at checkout. Sales Tax 8.625% sales tax will be added to all orders within New York State.

Returns Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item. (buyer must notify us that they will be returning the item within 4 days of receiving the item, or return will be void) Buyer pays for shipping cost , Buyer is responsible for returning the item undamaged, we can provide return label which cost will be deducted from the refund owned to the buyer. A 10% restocking fee will also be assessed upon return of the item. We reserve the right to refuse refund if item is not returned in the same condition it was originally shipped to the buyer.
