2009 Fender Custom Shop MBS 1961 Stratocaster Relic by Jason Smith Black
Description
Fender Custom Shop 2009 MBS 1961 Stratocaster Relic Master Built by Jason Smith
This is the “1961 Stratocaster Relic” model, crafted by Master Builder Jason Smith.
The relic finish recreates the fine weather checking, bridge cover marks and tarnished metal parts that are typical of vintage guitars. The neck profile is a thin, slim C-shape.
There are multiple scratches and tiny dents on the entire body, not resulting from the relic processing. There are also multiple tiny dents on the body end, scuffs and shallow dents on the back of the neck, hanger marks at the base of the headstock, cigarette burns next to the sixth string tuner, some tiny dents on the tip of the headstock, and discoloration and corrosion on the plastic and metal parts respectively. The back panel is missing.
