1966 Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst w Original Case CLEAN Vintage Guitar Dots and Bound!

Here we have an absolutely beautiful and very clean 1966 Fender Jazzmaster in classic Sunburst.

This is from the desirable mid-’60s period when the necks featured binding and dot inlays, a specification many collectors favor for both feel and aesthetics. It sits firmly in collector-grade territory, and outside of some normal finish checking, it presents as a very clean and honest example overall.

We’d confidently call this one excellent condition.

The guitar is 100% original, with the sole exception of a single very small added pickguard screw, likely added due to the common shrinkage issues associated with tortoise celluloid pickguards. Otherwise, it remains fully untouched.

The neck is straight and true, and the guitar plays exceptionally well up and down the fingerboard. Cosmetically, there are only a few light marks here and there, consistent with careful use over time, but nothing that detracts from its overall presentation.

It comes complete with the original hardshell case and the original tremolo arm.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find clean, honest mid-’60s Fender Jazzmasters in this condition, especially ones that haven’t been heavily altered or over-restored.

At 7.7 lbs, it has a great balanced feel.
