~1935 Vincent DeLuccia Maple 000

Description

Rare OM-Style Maple Guitar
Extra-Fine Quality

A fabulous and rare OM style guitar from Philadelphia. The DeLuccia family were prolific builders of violin, mandolin and guitar family instruments in Philadelphia. They were among the group of highly skilled instrument makers that emigrated from Italy to the East Coast mostly. This guitar is particularly interesting to us since it is essentially an OM: 000 size, long scale and wider neck. The woods are spruce and maple and the tone is rich and warm. Many of us first heard of this builder in the 1960's through the use of one by John Herald of the Greenbriar Boys. We're thrilled to have one here.
