This guitar has Fender’s “Time Capsule” finish package, which is a Custom Shop treatment designed to make a new guitar look like an unplayed, perfectly preserved vintage instrument. It features glossy "No Buff" NOS flash coat lacquer on the body, combined with gently aged Closet Classic hardware. The color is 3 tone chocolate sunburst on the top and back with plum colored sides. It has a light weight, two-piece alder body with binding on the top and back. The guitar’s total weight is just 7.4 pounds. The maple neck is a ’59 large “C” shape with depth measurements of .85” at the first fret increasing to .99” at the twelfth fret. It has a nice dark AAA grade rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25” to 9.50” compound radius, medium Jescar 47095 frets, vintage style clay inlays and a 1.650” bone nut. The electronics include ’58 Tele single coil pickups with modern wiring. It has an eight-hole single ply pickguard and vintage style tuners.

This guitar has seen only light play and remains in near mint condition. Just a tiny, hard to see clear coat flaw near the control plate is all there is to report (see included photo). Otherwise, this guitar is in near mint condition and the frets are flawless.
