Here we have a really awesome Fender Custom Shop ZF Stratocaster Heavy Relic! This is an EVH Bumblebee inspired build that really delivers!

Specs include a roasted ash body, birdseye maple neck, 21 jumbo frets, 12” radius, 1.6875” nut width, and a bone nut. The headstock logo is laser etched to preserve that all-wood look. The tuners are a set of Scahllers with pearl buttons. The bridge is a recessed Floyd Rose without fine tuners. The electronics are rear loaded with a single volume control in the middle position. The pickup is a single DiMarzio F-Spaced Super Distortion.

This guitar is heavily relic'd at the factory. It appears to be in excellent condition, as it left the Custom Shop. They heavily wore the black finish, exposing some yellow underneath, a subtle tribute to the black and yellow stripe scheme. The neck is oil finished with a heavy patina, especially on the board where it looks like years of grime has built up.

It weighs in at 6lbs 11oz. The neck measures .820 to .870 at the 1st and 12th frets. The neck feels very reminiscent of an old pre-production Charvel in terms of nut width and carve. This guitar rips! It has an open, vibrant acoustic sound off of the body with a round bass note and crisp mid-range. It plays easily and bends easily, plus it’s quite dynamic under the picking hand. One of the cooler specs we’ve had and a really fun guitar to play.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, floor traveler, backplate, tremolo arm, hang tag, sticker and other paperwork.
