Electronics: The original neck pickup, a patent number sticker humbucker, has been installed in the bridge position. The lead on the pickup has been replaced. A Seymour Duncan High Voltage humbucker has been installed in the neck. The other electronics are original. The guitar has two humbuckers, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The original humbucker is a patent number sticker humbucker and the visible pot codes date to 1963.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with checking, shallow scratches, and some small dings and dents throughout. Filled and retouched screw holes are visible on the top where the old tailpiece had been removed. The headstock shows some stand rash and its back shows empty screw holes and the footprints of its original tuners. The edges of the headstock show some small chips. The metal hardware is tarnished with age.
