1960 Fender Precision Bass "Slab Fingerboard Neck with Two Tone Burst"
Description
A precision bass with a slab neck in excellent clean condition.
The Slab Precision remains extremely popular in today's vintage market, but production lasted only a little under three years because it was changed to a round fingerboard in mid-1962.
While buckle wear is visible on the body back, it remains in excellent condition for vintage gear of this era.
The red sections of the three-tone burst fade into a two-tone burst, creating a cool look unique to this period.
The volume pot has been replaced with a CTS-made 75-year date.
