1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop

This is a fantastic Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Standard, made in the USA in 1968, the first year the original style Les Paul was re-offered by Gibson since 1960. This is an early '68 with all the best features - 1-piece neck and body, long tenon, small headstock. The guitar shows light play wear, but overall this one is in remarkable condition and 100% original. The gold finish is in nice shape with some light checking and it has greened a little near the pickguard. The guitar weighs 9 pounds 9 ounces. It has been pro-setup in our store and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original case, hang tag, and sales receipt from 1968.
