Description

With Nash’s incredible “Nautilus” neck. More on that in a minute. Ash body in two-tone sunburst with heavy aging, Lollar pickups, chunky “C” profile neck, 6105 frets, traditional switching and volume/tone controls. So what’s the deal with the Nautilus neck? We’ll quote from Nash’s website: “Using the same math that determines fret spacing (commonly called ‘The Rule of 18’ - where each fret is 1/18th closer than the last), we applied this principle to fretboard radius. The result? A radically progressive radius, where every fret is 1/18th flatter than the one before it. This means that every position you place your fingers, the position one step above has built-in clearance. This clearance is normally achieved through neck relief and high action. The Nautilus neck does this by the radical new design. Our patented Nautilus Neck design requires little to no neck relief. Action can be set incredibly low, bending is easier and virtually unlimited thanks to mathematically optimized fret clearance.” They’re not kidding - this design works and it works really well. Otherwise, all the usual Nash features are present - great looks, premium components, excellent build quality. Comes in its factory hard case. Made in Olympia, Washington, USA.
