The SJ-200 Standard features back and sides crafted from gorgeous AAA figured maple, paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, which gives it a bold sound with excellent projection. It is finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and available in a variety of colors. The two-piece maple neck features a walnut stringer for style and strength. The neck has a comfortable Round profile and features a bound rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 20 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays—one of the visual hallmarks of this iconic acoustic guitar.

The bound headstock is ornamented with the Gibson logo and crown, both inlaid in mother of pearl. High-quality gold Grover® Rotomatic tuners work in harmony with a TUSQ® nut to ensure smooth, solid tuning. The body features the iconic SJ-200 pickguard and a two-bar Moustache™ bridge, another readily identifiable feature that distinguishes the SJ-200, made of rosewood. It is equipped with a TUSQ saddle and bridge pins.

The SJ-200 Standard comes craftory-equipped with an internal L.R. Baggs™ Anthem mic/pickup system with soundhole-mounted controls that are easy to access for the performer while remaining all but invisible to the audience. A Gibson Modern hardshell case is also included, so the SJ-200 Standard is ready to join you on stage, in the studio, or wherever the road takes you.
