This is a 2015 Swart Space Tone STR Reverb Tremolo in tweed, excellent condition, loaded with the stock Mojotone BV-30H 12" speaker and accompanied by the Swart Night Light Jr attenuator.
A Studio Slips cover is also included. It is a complete, thoughtfully assembled rig for anyone who wants serious tone at any volume level — from cranked in a small club to whisper quiet at home without sacrificing what makes the amp worth owning in the first place.
The STR Tremolo is 5 watts of Class A single-ended output, cathode biased, point-to-point hand wired, with zero negative feedback and a GZ34 tube rectifier — a circuit architecture that rewards touch sensitivity and dynamic playing in a way that no solid-state or printed circuit board amp can replicate. The reverb is all-tube and genuinely musical, revised toward what Swart describes as a "surf zone" voicing — lush and dimensional without washing out your tone. The tremolo is equally well-executed, with Speed and Depth controls that cover everything from subtle pulse to deep throb. A three-way EQ toggle adds useful flexibility for different guitars and rooms. Power tube options include 6V6, 6L6, or EL34 — the amp ships with a 6V6 and each swap meaningfully changes the character. Cabinet is finger-jointed solid pine in classic tweed, and the stock BV-30H is a purpose-voiced 12" that is exactly right for this platform.
The Night Light Jr deserves its own mention because it transforms how you can use this amp. Swart designed it specifically to tuck into the external speaker port of the STR, which means it lives with the amp rather than on your pedalboard. Four attenuation levels plus a defeatable bulb filament compression stage — which runs your attenuated signal through an actual jewel lamp filament for a subtle, saturated tube-like compression — make this one of the more clever attenuator designs out there. At full attenuation the amp sits just above natural string volume while retaining the output tube breakup character that makes 5-watt amps worth playing at all. It is the answer to getting everything this amp does at 2am in an apartment.
Condition is excellent throughout. We tested the tubes to make sure they're ready to go. This is a ready-to-play setup that requires nothing from you except to plug in.

These cases require the buyer to re-install them on delivery - it is very easy with this amp, and we label them so you know exactly where to put them. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.
