 When we introduced the Tubedreamer in 2006, our goal was to build the best 808-style overdrive. That’s
what we built then, and what we’ve pushed further with the mk.2.

The Tubedreamer mk.2 delivers a warm, rich and articulate overdrive, with a carefully tuned midrange that
cuts through a mix without ever sounding congested or harsh.

Improved low-gain resolution provides finer control where it matters most, unlocking a wider range of
usable tones at lower settings. At its core, the Tubedreamer retains the legendary JRC4558D chip, just like the most sought-after vintage units.

A 3-diode asymmetrical clipping stage enhances touch sensitivity, responding naturally to picking
dynamics and fretting nuances.

New to the mk.2, a no-diode clipping mode removes diode clipping, delivering a more open, dynamic and
amp-like response with increased headroom and clarity.

For the first time, the high-gain stage is accessible via a dedicated footswitch, turning the Tubedreamer
into a true performance tool.
Dual internal trimmers provide independent output level control for the
high-gain stage in each clipping mode, enabling precise matching or boosting. A selectable power-on state lets you choose whether the pedal engages or remains bypassed on startup.
