1961 Rickenbacker 365 Capri Fireglo
Description
Description
Up for sale is an insanely cool and quite rare 1961 Rickenbacker 365 Capri in Fireglo. This example features the thick double bound body design, dual original toaster pickups, gold pick guards and truss rod cover, Kluson single line tuners, Accent By Paul PAF tremolo system. The visible pots are coded 1376103 dating to the 3rd week of 1961. The tremolo arm is a replacement and there is a decent amount of finish wear, dings, dents, scratches as well. There is a finish crack coming off the bass side of the nut, it does not appear structural not a wood crack. The frets are fairly low and depending on your preference this guitar could stand to have new frets installed. That being said, it plays well with very low action. Overall a lovely and hard to find vintage Ric!
Pro Setup in house and ships with its original hardshell case (broken handle).
Weight: 8lbs. 2oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
