2018 Recording King Duolian Swamp Dog Green/Brass

Recording King guitars were produced mainly by Gibson in the early thirties for a large department store - Montgomery Ward as their signature brand. Highly prized today, the name was borrowed in 2007 by a new company. This excellent copy of the 14 fret National Duolian was made in 2018 thru Chinese factory whose workmanship is surprisingly good and equal to the finish and sound level of the old Nationals at a much more affordable price point. Thru guidance of California luthier the brand has created amazing copies of a whole range of acoustics banjos and resonators. This one has a bell-brass body with distressed vintage green paint.
