1990 Orville by Gibson Explorer natural Korina

Up for sale we have a beautiful Orville by Gibson "Clapton Cut" Explorer in Korina wood with original hard shell case. This rare guitar is in great overall condition and looks fantastic. There is some light honest play wear here and there, some faint belt buckle worming on the backside and a small dent on the treble side horn (see photo). Built with beautiful Korina wood. Equipped with a pair of Gibson Bill Lawrence designed "The Original" humbucking pickups labeled HB-R in the neck and HB-L in the bridge. Weighs in at 7 lbs. 10 oz. The neck is medium sized in depth with a C-shape profile, but with a bit of shoulder toeing the line of a rounded D-shape. Nice and wide fretboard with a nut width of a full 1" 11/16ths. Rosewood fingerboard. A fantastic instrument that you don't see everyday.
