1943 Gibson L-7
Description
Great sounding 17" box with a hand carved spruce top and flame maple back, with nice flame in the maple neck. There are two plugged holes in the top from pickup knobs, a repaired hairline split in the top, one small hole drilled in the top (for a pickup wire) and a former owner scratched his initials, CW, on the butt end and back of the peghead. Otherwise the finish is beautiful, the neck is a small C shape, the action is great and the tone is strong, full and punchy. All together, this is an extra-fine player.
