This guitar is in near-mint condition and plays effortlessly, offering modern reliability with classic Martin character. No cracks, repairs, or issues and it has a big voice. Even though it doesn't look like it has been played much, it has opened up nicely.
The solid spruce top paired with rosewood back and sides produces huge projection with excellent clarity and balance across the strings. Chords bloom with depth and authority, single notes stay focused and articulate, and the guitar responds beautifully to changes in attack. The scalloped bracing helps the top move freely, giving this instrument its signature openness and headroom.
