2011 Schoenberg Quartet #7
Description
The "Grand Piano" of Schoenberg Guitars
Panama Rosewood, Italian Spruce
One of our favorites has returned, completed March 1, 2011 by Randall Kramer, out of Panama rosewood and Italian spruce. This is our Grand Piano model, a full 16" across and only 4" deep, 12-frets to-the-body with cutaway. The quality of detail is stunning, with the highest grade woods, subtle bindings and purflings, heel-contour-following cutaway joint, while at the same time, this guitar has astounding tone. It's designed to be more balanced and less tubby than your average dreadnaught, with a clean yet full depth and a powerful treble.
A note from the past owner: "Thank you so much for opening your shop for me this weekend during these unfamiliar times. I really appreciate it. I just wanted to write to say that the guitar is absolutely beautiful and a joy to play. It's the best guitar I've ever held and I can't believe it's mine. I haven't put it down. It's a fine example of world class craftsmanship and design."
