2000 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Aztec Telecaster Gold Aztec Lion-Natural
Description
A truly one-of-a-kind Custom Shop Telecaster! These Custom Shop pieces were hand built by various members of the Custom Shop and occasionally Master Builders as one-off "create whatever you want" creations. The owner of our store sought out and purchased some of these one-of-a-kind pieces from the original builders.
According to the Fender documentation, this piece is called the "Leo Aztec Tele". It features an Alder/Rosewood/Maple/Mahogany, a very heavily flamed "modern C" maple neck, and a Rosewood/Flamed Maple/Ebony fretboard. Vintage Tele neck pickup and what is listed as a "Trembucker" bridge pickup. It measures 8.74k so it is likely a Seymour Duncan 59' Trembucker.
The guitar has been in storage is in NOS condition. The neck is perfectly straight the instrument shows no signs of play. The original G&G Tweed case is included along with the scanned document from the original builder Jose Guerrero containing the information listed above.
