Description

This might be the coolest guitar I've ever had. It is the only slab body NY pickup Coronet I've ever seen in any color other than black (which is also über cool). I rarely make use of the term "mint" but this guitar looks like it should be hanging in the showroom way back in 1959. No fade, no scrapes or scratches or much of anything. It looks brand new. It is perhaps the most stunning guitar I've seen the twenty years I've been at this. And yes, find another. Early Coronets are prone to headstock breaks but this one has no issues at all. A mint black one, if you can find it will probably cost you at least $20K so maybe an extra $10K for a one of a kind red one shouldn't seem out of line. At least it doesn't to me. When this one last sold, it went for double the price of a clean black one. The big V profile neck is to die for and the NY pickup has a voice all its own and it sounds great. It is 100% original. Original hard case (as far as I know).
